  This Cafe is a quaint 'hole in the wall' that serves a solid home cooked southern meal. I enjoyed the greeting and hospitality, which made me feel right at home. A gentleman casually took my order, as he sat at the bar with me chatting. He was very personable and comforting. I ordered the wings with a side of sweet potatoes and cabbage, with cornbread included. The wings and cornbread were the highlights. I enjoyed the perfect crisp on the wings although I prefer more aggressive seasoning in the breading. They were a little bland without hot sauce. The cornbread was amazing, so be sure to try it! It was the perfect combination of a crunchy outer layer and creamy center with perfect sweetness. The sweet potatoes and cabbage were lacking depth of flavor. Overall, I appreciated the home cooked meal and the opportunity to support a locally owned black business. *Cash Only*
